I'm not sure why I'm making a profile here this early in my life, possibly because I'm paranoid of never finding someone who I belong with. Either way, I'm a student who, as strange as it sounds, plays poker for money instead of having a "real job," and I've been quite fortunate in my success in it. Originally from Chicago, I've been here in the southern California desert for almost 12 years now. The heat gets pretty intense in the summer, but that's where the mountain/lake house comes in handy. It's great to be able to escape the inferno and run up the mountain for long weekends.

I have garnered a great group of friends over the years, (both gay and straight) that I love spending time with.
Cooking is a favorite pastime for me. I really enjoy having a couple friends for dinner and a game of cards or something low key.
